We present the repair project of the Gamesa G8X wind turbine main shafts at ABS Wind Costa Rica’s facilities

This month has been particularly active in our ABS Wind Costa Rica workshop. We present a sequence of images of the repair project of the Gamesa G8X wind turbine main shafts, which are currently installed in the EOLO wind farm in Nicaragaua and is managed by CMI-Corporación Multi Inversiones. The pictures show the disassembly of both main shafts, the NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) checks prior to the assembly process, as well as Ultrasound and Liquid Penetrant checks to reveal possible surface cracks. ¡Good work by Keyli Mora Rosales and the entire ABS Wind Costa Rica team!
